Expertise for 135 years

In 2006, ILS Speth GmbH was formed through the merger of several long-established independent companies.

These included the company founded in 1874 by Carl-August Speth, which initially manufactured textile machinery and later produced screws and other turned parts; the company Karl Lenzner Drehteile, founded in 1921; the company Fedder & Löhr, founded in 1973, which, in addition to aluminum die-cast parts, had also been manufacturing aluminum forged parts in Solingen since 1998; and IMK Druckguss GmbH, which had been producing zinc die-cast parts at its Velbert location since 1980.

Under the umbrella of the EMKA Group, the areas of expertise of ILS Speth GmbH now form a strong, internationally oriented network of suppliers and service providers. At the headquarters in Wuppertal, the three locations have merged into a tightly managed, highly efficient production facility.
